“Quran Ijazah” or “ Quran Ijaza” means linguistically “permission”, “authorization” or “license”. Then the sheikh listens to the student memorizing the reading or reciting the Quran, corrects it, and the student repeats again until the sheikh is sure that his student has his own knowledge, so he gives him this ijazah.
